Gaming Mice
« on: December 26, 2011, 12:21:41 PM »
my 518 went out and was looking into a new mouse.  i know razer and logitech have been the frontrunners for a long time but now all these new makers are emerging.  so two have caught my eye...the corsair m60 and the cm storm spawn.  the spawn is half the price of the corsair but the corsair is so well made and has a dpi indicator which i like.

the storm looks way too small.  Unless you have girly hands

I've been researching mice too.  The one I have chosen is the Cyborg R.A.T. 7

I'm not sure about the corsair.  I would be nervous buying a newly designed mouse. I'm using the Logitech G700 right now, and I love it.

if you like the feel of the mx518 then get a roccat kone or roccat kone plus.  I have the regular kone and it works great.

so the corsair m60 is a pretty good mouse.  built very well.  nothing on the mouse feels cheap at all.  the entire frame is brushed aluminum.  has three independent weights on the bottom.  the sniper button is a very nice touch...makes sniping much easier.  it has leds on it that glow blue.  was $60 bucks which i didn't want to spend but apparenly worth it.

I actually just got the CM Spawn, been using it for a few weeks now.
I love it because it works awesome for the way I hold the mouse (with a claw grip using my fingers to move/aim, instead of resting my palm on it)
It actually replaced my former DeathAdder, I loved the sensor but I could never get used to the grip.
Using the Spawn on a Steelseries QcK now...it's working awesome so far  ^-^
