So I'm just wondering, who else plays, and what's your playstyle? KoS? Bandit? Hero? Just a survivor?

MineCraft / Server Down?

Hey, so the server is down for my friend and I, and the server map is not responding, so I assume this is not region specific. The TCS Minecraft server is down, and has been for a while. I didn't see any threads here, so I decided to make one. I just have a couple questions to ask.

Is there a reason for the server being shut down? If so, what is it?

And is there any expected date that it will come back online?

MineCraft / 1.7 World reset?

With the 1.7 update come VERY soon, and with it providing large amounts of new terrain features, the time has come yet again to decide what will happen to our old world. It is obvious we should create a new world to take advantage of all the new biomes that will be added, but do we keep or lose our items?
Personally, I think it's too soon for a total reset; we should be able to transfer our gear.

I was exploring the world looking for horses, and cam across a BIG pile of stuff on the ground, several large chests worth. I then watched the players house slowly despawn into the normal land. I managed to save his gear, he'll thank me for that, but ive heard of this happening in the past. Peoples houses despawning, losing ALL their gear.

He needs to be banned for these reasons, swearing, spamming, and lava griefing. Me, healy and rekie hunted him down and killed him, to cause him to ragequit.

Please Tyshark, don't reset the server, we went through too much grief last time! After all, do we really need withers skeletons? You are probably gonna ban Withers anyways (what a griefing tool) and Witches, well we don't really need them, right? And even so...if you go far enough the new stuff spawns anyways.
