Tag em' and Bag em' 2009 COD4 Tournament
« on: March 06, 2009, 01:32:40 PM »
This tournament has a small entrance fee of fifteen dollars for each team. The money will be collected before you are given your opponent on the ladder otherwise you will not be playing. All money is to be dealt with by team FxD. If you have any questions or concerns email us at FxDGamingGroup@Yahoo.Com.

Refunds will only be given if your team announces that they are not going to participate a week in advance of their set competition date. The reason is as follows; we will have to update the ladders and send an announcement to the other teams updating them on their new opponents.

The money will be deposited back into your account. Please allow two to three business days in order for the transaction to have been completed.

Game server Rules and Details:

Tagem' and Bag em' 2009 SnD
    5v5 Single Elimination
Start date:

Tournament Match Rules:

Match will consist of 1 map of Search and Destory. Match Winner will be determined by rounds won. 13 rounds won are required to be named winner of the match. ProMod 4 final will be used.

The following maps may be used for all matches. Each Tournament Round will use one map.

Only registered competitors are allowed to participate in the tournament. Should any team have unregistered competitors in the tournament, the entire team will be disqualified. Each team must select a name for their team and also appoint a team captain.

If a team fails to arrive in their designated match server 15 minutes after the start of their assigned match, the match will be forfeited.

Tournament Procedure:

Scheduled match times represent the time of the actual match start, not the time that a competitor must report to the designated match server.

Competitors must idle on IRC on the Gamesurge network on #teamce. If a tournament admin needs to contact a team captain this is the only place he will look.

Competitors may not leave the game server during the match or overtime unless specifically requested of a tournament admin.

If a tournament server or network crashes, the server must be restarted and the game's score reset to 0-0.

If a competitor's computer crashes after the match has gone live, the match will continue.

Each team will be allowed four (7) players total, 5 to play and 2 for backups.

At the time of the brackets going up, if any team does not have two (5) or more players, the team will be removed without question.

Any modification to sounds will be considered cheating.

Sitting in spectator mode for longer than five (5) seconds may be ruled as cheating. This may cause the offending team a match forfeit.

All players must use the default player and weapon models/skins.

Glitching is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to: going under/through, and/or shooting through map terrain. This does not include right/left leaning and hyper punch.

Intentional disconnects, ping flooding, server crashing, etc will not be tolerated.

Competitors will conduct themselves in a respectful manner, maintaining a friendly and polite demeanor to spectators, competitors, tournament officials, sponsors and the general public.

Competitors will refrain from the use of vulgar language during the entire competition. Teasing competitors during matches is prohibited. All rules of conduct also apply to chatting through the game console.

Competitors are expected to compete in a professional manner. Throwing a match, halting play without cause, or showing a lack of effort will be construed as a violation of player conduct, and will result in match forfeit and disqualification from the tournament.

Competitor contestant agrees, without limitation, to abide by all Tournament Rules and Regulations. Failure to do so will subject Competitor contestant to immediate removal from the Tournament.

Competitor agrees not to use threatening, profane, vulgar, obscene, lewd, or indecent speech or gestures during the Tournament.

Competitor agrees not to maliciously disparage, discredit, slander, or defame Chemical Element or the Tournament Sponsors, in any public forum, or format, including but not limited to: websites, IRC, Usenet/Web discussion systems, chat programs.

Competitor agrees that Team CE or FxD may deny entry or affect removal of Competitor if Competitor is determined, at the sole discretion of Chemical Element, to be in violation of any of the terms and conditions of this Agreement or any other applicable policy or rule.

By registering and participating in the Tagem' and Bag em' 2009 each participant agrees to the rules of this document. Breaking any rule listed is grounds for tournament disqualification at the discretion of the tournament admins.

Any action in violation of the Player Conduct rules as witnessed by a tournament admin will result in a warning. Once a warning has been issued, the next violation will result in disqualification of the entire team.

The Tournament Director reserves the right to cancel or modify the tournament rules if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond reasonable control impairs the integrity of the tournament.

A Tournament Official has the right to disqualify and dismiss any registered player from the tournament, at his or her discretion, at any stage of the tournament for any valid reason, without prior warning to the player.
