looks like Xbox One is a good system again!

Xbox One will also no longer restrict used games, and will instead allow discs to be exchanged in the same way they are on Xbox 360. There will be no additional restrictions for trade-ins or lending games to friends. The system is also no longer be region locked and all downloaded games will function the same way whether your console is connected or not.

After all of this talk about how this is the right route to go, they just suddenly back down in the end. Something just doesn't feel right about this. Was it really the consumer or the horrible preorder sales between the xbox and ps4? What is to stop them from suddenly adding these things back in a year after the xbox has been out?

"After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again." They are still wanting to go the cloud route so this to me still sounds like it requires an internet connection for first time setup.
